Can I choose the vehicle model?

You can choose the vehicle category that guarantees certain features (e.g., Economy 5 seats, 3 doors), but there are several models in each category, and it′s not possible to guarantee a specific model. If we have the desired model at the time of delivery, we will gladly provide it. If the requested category is not available, you will be provided with a higher category at no additional cost. We also cannot guarantee a specific type of fuel (gasoline or diesel) or color. The model, type of fuel, and color will depend on the vehicles available at our office at the time of delivery.

What age must I be to rent a car?

The minimum driver′s age is 21 years with a driver′s license that is more than 12 months old.

"Young Driver" surcharge for drivers between 21 and 25 years old: €10/day. In these cases, it is not possible to waive the deductible, and only groups A, B, C, and E are allowed for rental.

Drivers over 70 years old will have the same conditions as young drivers.

Who can drive the vehicle?

Only individuals listed in the rental contract as the primary or additional driver.

What happens if there are more than 1 driver?

You will need to hire an additional driver as an extra.

- Additional driver: €4/day

- Maximum €45 per additional driver

- Maximum of 2 additional drivers per rental contract

Can I reduce the deductible to €0?

Yes, it is possible. When making your reservation, you have the option to purchase CDW insurance, which eliminates the deductible. Valid only for those over 25 years old.

Is compulsory car insurance included in the price?

Yes, compulsory third-party vehicle insurance is always included in the price at no additional cost.

Can I see the prices before making a reservation?

Once you enter the location where you want to rent your vehicle and the dates you wish to have it, you can immediately confirm availability and price in the Booking Panel without any obligation. If you agree with those prices, you can proceed with the reservation.

What documents do I need when receiving the car?

Please have your passport or ID, driver′s license, and credit card ready. If there are additional drivers, they will need to bring their passport or ID and driver′s license as well.

Do I need a credit card to make a reservation?

Yes, you can only make a reservation if you provide your credit card details. This allows us to guarantee and secure your reservation.

Why do I need to have my credit card with me?

Unfortunately, credit card fraud is common. Therefore, you should have the credit card provided at the time of booking with you. This helps us prevent this type of fraud and maintain our low and competitive prices.

Can I take the vehicle off the island where I rented it?

Taking vehicles abroad is not allowed.

Can I smoke inside the vehicle?

Smoking inside the vehicles is not allowed.

Can I bring pets inside the vehicle?

Bringing animals inside the vehicles is not allowed.

The rental price includes standard vehicle cleaning; however, if the vehicle is returned very dirty or with animal hair, Rent a Car JUNAUTO will charge €95 for special cleaning.

How should the fuel tank be when I return the vehicle?

The vehicle will be delivered to the customer with a full tank. At the end of the rental contract, the vehicle must be returned with a full tank. If not, the customer will be charged for refueling according to the following information.

Can I return the car to a different location than the pick-up location?

Yes, the vehicle can be picked up and returned at different locations. These locations can include Rent a Car JUNAUTO facilities, Palma Airport, and Palma Port.

Do you deliver vehicles directly at the Airport/Port? Does it have any cost?

Yes, Rent a Car JUNAUTO offers vehicle delivery and pick-up services at Palma Airport and Palma Port. This service costs €30 per trip.

Can I pick up/return my vehicle at the Hotel, Villa, or private house where I am staying?

Vehicle pick-up and return can be done at Rent a Car JUNAUTO facilities, Palma Airport, and Palma Port.

How do I cancel a reservation? Is there a cancellation fee?

Cancellations without penalties must be made at least 24 hours before the start of the rental, which is considered to begin at 08:00 on the first day. Otherwise, the following will apply:

Between 96 hours and 72 hours, 25% of the total agreed price will be charged.

Between 72 hours and 48 hours, 50% of the total agreed price will be charged.

Between 48 hours and 24 hours, 75% of the total agreed price will be charged.

Less than 24 hours, 100% of the total agreed price will be charged.

Late vehicle return

If the vehicle is returned later than the agreed-upon rental contract date, the insurance will be invalidated, and the customer will be responsible for a daily fee of €30 (including VAT). In addition to this fee, the customer will also be responsible for the daily rental rate.
